- I couldn't agree with you more. The injustice of these narrowminded,
- apple-touting bigots who call themselves computer historians.
-
- There were WAY more computers than just Apple and PCs, you have Atari,
- Commodore, TRS 80, TI, Spectrum, Timex Sinclair ZX80, and tons and tons
- more. Among them, Commodore 64 & 128 were BY FAR the most popular in the
- world, even moreso than IBM Compatibles up until the late 80s. Yet what
- do we hear about, the crAPPLE which made up some 10% of the market and
- that was only in the US (again, I mean up until the late 80s so don't
- flame on this).
-
- I'd say if your gonna leave an 8bit out, leave them all out and just go
- CPM -> IBM PC -> IBM XT ect... Or, preferably, put the venerable
- Commodore 64 and the Atari 800 in along with the crAPPLE. Yeah, at least
- include the most popular 8bit system (C64) and the second and third most
- popular 8bits with it.
-
- Thats my 64 cents worth (pun intentional).
-
-
- BTW... My Commodore 64 and Atari 800xl are still hooked up (to this day)
- and I still use them! So there!
